Lucy C. Seligman of Des Plaines. The funeral Mass for Lucy C. Seligman (nee Seidl), 98, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Zachary Church, 567 W. Algonquin Road, Des Plaines, where she will lie in state from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday, at Oehler Funeral Home, Des Plaines Chapel, 2099 Miner St. (Northwest Highway/ Route 14 at Rand Road), Des Plaines. Born Nov. 27, 1911, in Lankin, N.D., she died Friday, Aug. 13, 2010, at Holy Family Health Care. Lucy was a registered nurse and a member of the St. Zachary Goldaires. She was the wife of the late Arthur J. Seligman; mother of Patricia (William) Mayer, Linda (Jack) Smith, Douglas A. Seligman and the late Allen Seligman; grandmother of Kelley (Randy) Dettloff, Jeanine (Craig) Stantesly, Kristine (Roger) Wise, Thomas J. Smith and Sean (Eileen) Mayer; and great-grandmother of seven. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Zachary Parish Life Center or masses appreciated.
