To Mrs. Linda Boyko and family, please accept my sincerest condolences.
    I had only met Mike less than a year ago, as we sat in a room in Wheeling with other techs like Mike, and after an hour of meeting them all, it was easy to see that Mike was an honest and hard working guy. He certainly had a great demeanor and subsequently, as Mike was recuperating, we had a few conversations and Mike was determined that he would be back soon, and I had no doubt that he would. I certainly wish he had, as he will be certainly missed by his family, friends, and his Nestle coworkers that will miss him greatly. Rest easy Mike, the pain is over. Rest in Peace.

I first met mike nearly 18 years ago when i first started with vitality, we worked together on several big projects for work he was always an upbeat guy that was fun to be around, he never let anything slow him down, he will be missed rest in peace

Dear Boyko  Family , Mikey was always fun to be with and up beat . Mikey and myself go way back in to the 90s we built shops for VITALIY in Minnesota Ohio and other places . He went above and beyond the call of duty. One my favorite things to do with Mikey  were to take him for a slice of pizza .Mikey liked to try new pizza and he said that fat guys like me knew where the good places are .Mikey and I always  tried to out do each other at keeping are work truck cleaner than each others. I always lost because I had  MC Donald's  bags in my truck. MY Comrade Mikey Boyko  well be greatly missed .R.I.P MY FRIEND , BE WELL BROTHER.

When I told my wife I wanted to share some thoughts about Michael, but wasn't sure where to start, her response was it'll be okay, Mike is easy to say nice things about..that was the effect he had on people.  Even though she'd only met him a few times, my wife knew that Mike was a genuinely good person. 
The first time I met Mike Boyko was 2008, when Vitality moved me to the Chicago are to manage the Midwest.   Even though we had some struggles, I knew I could always count on Mike.  Workday, weekend, after hours, holiday, no matter what I needed, Mike was always there to be my cornerstone, and hold the place together.  I don't know if I'd have made it through those first few years without him.  
Whether work or personal life, all you needed to do was tell Michael that you had a problem.  He either knew someone that could help, would find someone, or would figure out how to help you himself.  He never slowed down, he never took a day off, and he never stopped trying.  Mike was the toughest guy I'll ever know. 
When Mike had his teeth redone, most people have one set, wait a few months for the swelling and pain to subside, then do the second set, not Mike.  He told the doc, I'm here, may as well do both, but that's not what made Mike tough.  The day after the surgery Mike showed up at work, looking like a chipmunk that had been in a title fight.  Barely able to speak, as if he had a mouth full of cotton, he said, ready to go boss.  This was one of many instances I can remember where I had to send him home, almost by force.  I'd tell him, don't worry Mike, get better and this place will be here when you get back.  He listened. sometimes.  
Recently Rudy and I were talking about Mike, and he said something I'll never forgetNot a day will go by for the rest of my life, when I'll have some aches and pains, and I'll  think about Mike and I won't complain, because it won't seem so bad.  As his friend I can tell you that while Mike lived every day of his life in pain, the outside world would never know it.  Mike would tell me that he knew lots of people who life had given everything to, and they'd wasted it all.  Meanwhile, Mike had been given more hardship than most of us will ever know, and he saw it as a challenge to make the most of every day, and teach life that it couldn't get him down.  I hope when my time comes, and someone stands in front of a room to talk about me, they think that I was half the man, that Mike Boyko was. 
Rest in Peace my friend, you've earned it.

My condolences to Linda and the family.  I met Mike 16 years ago when he came to St. Louis to help train me when I joined Vitality Foodservice.  I noticed right away how special of a person Mike was by his caring attitude and how he would help you regardless of how much time it took.  He never complained about his challenges in life and was always upbeat when we got together.  RIP my friend.

I only met Mike about a dozen times and quickly came to know him as a man in all the positive senses of that word.  He was a great teammate and we were lucky to have him working with us.  His teammates and his customers will miss him greatly.  My sincere condolences for your loss.

Mike Boyko was a technician who always spoke fast when he called for a ticket only because he was about getting the job done. He was so nice and pleasant always. Every time I look outside at my deck I will think of Michael and his heavy duty water machine, washing my deck and then meticulously painting it.... it was a joy having him over and teaching Peter how to power wash and paint the deck. Even though we never made it to TBK, it still makes me smile thinking about our inside joke! Michael, you always made me smile whenever I saw you... I can still hear your voice when you called Peter Troop.... you will be missed and you will always have a special place in my heart.

I met Mike five years ago during my initial meeting with the team in Wheeling.  He was always upbeat.  Getting to know him on a more personal level helped me understand just how great of a person he was.  I could always count on him to tell me the truth even when it wasn't something I wanted to hear.  He will truly be missed.
