Nicholas “Nick” Zampetis, 72 of Des Plaines, passed away June 23, 2017. Beloved husband of Mary nee Amersonis; cherished father of Paul Zampetis and Christie (Michael) Giometti; proud papou of Isabella and Matthew Giometti; dear brother of Irene (Bill) Diamantoulis; fond uncle of many. Nick enjoyed watching sports and spending time with his family. He had a zest for life even through his illness. A visitation will be held at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 2350 E.
