Sally S Nickele

Sally S. Nickele (nee Zilla) was born on October 4, 1957 to Frank and Sharon Patricia (nee Burton) Zilla, and passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 25, 2016. Sally was the loving wife of Gary Nickele; cherished mother of Stephanie (Anthony) DiSilvestro, Lisa Nickele (Matt Perille), Gary (Katie) Nickele, and Julie Nickele; dear grandmother of Ella Perille; beloved sister of Frank Zilla, Gail (Lee) Bardach, Kate Zilla, and the late Ann Zilla. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 28, 2016 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St., Des Plaines, IL 60016. Prayers will be said at Oehler Funeral Home on Monday, August 29, 2016 at 9:00am with the Funeral Mass following at 10:00am at St. Paul of the Cross, 320 South Washington St., Park Ridge, IL 60068. Interment will be held at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, IL 60016. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Rush University Medical Center for cancer patient care and breast cancer research.
