Sandra J. Jacobs

Sandy was born July 2nd, 1937 to Lawrence and Neva Anderson in Boone, IA. She graduated from Boone High School. After High School she was married to Jack T. Lundgren. She had four beautiful children, Janan, Ron, Chris, and Kenny.

Sandy raised her family in Des Plaines since 1962. After several years of being a home maker, Sandy worked in customer service at Stanley Home Products and Hart Shaffner

and Marx. Finally retiring at age 70.

Sandy met her second husband Ray Jacobs in 1980 and raised her Step- Children Eric (PeeWee) and Diane Jacobs.

Sandy was a dancer and participated in many dance programs and even received her certificate to teach dance. She enjoyed crocheting and sewing clothes. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed many years of bowling at Sim’s Bowl in Des Plaines. She enjoyed tossing horse shoes and bean bags in the backyard during many family barbecues. Sandy was a life long music lover, particularly country music, and even taught herself how to play the guitar. Sandy throughly enjoyed playing cards, even participating in Texas Hold Em tournaments with her sons and their friends.

Sandy was predeceased by Jack Lundgren, Ray Jacobs, Chris Lundgren, and Kenny Lundgren.

Sandy is survived by her Children Janan (Juan) Reyna, Ron (Jeannie) Lundgren, Eric Jacobs, and Diane Jacobs. Her grandchildren Sarah Lundgren, Kevin (Jessica) Lundgren, Josh (Dalia) Lundgren, Megan (Grifin) Lundgren, Paul (Jade) Lundgren, and Jacob Reyna. Her great grandchild Evelynn Sandra.
