Song Ja was a loving mother to Keysook (Ernst) Van der touw, Myongsook (Kevin) Hynes, Sanggu (Late Jungsook) Cha, Late Haesook (Gilbert) Kim, Hyunsook (Jonggab) Kim, and Jongsook (Kisuk) Jang; cherished grandmother to John (Alyssa), Christene (David), William (Stepanie), Anthony (Emily), Edward (Jamie), Hera (Blake), Steven (Julie), James (Lisa), George (Ramona), Addrena (Jamie), Walter (Kelly), Eric (Alexandra), Floria, and Joyce (Swapnil); dear great-grandmother to Kristen, Joshua, Kayla, Samuel, Victoria, Michaela, Evan, Madelyn, Jashua, Jaesang, Jaemin, Braden, Maddie, Jackson, Logan, Ian, Joelle, Riley, Asher, Emerson, Alena, Finley, Emerson, Wesley, Waverly, Benjamin, Robert, Theodore, Lucy, and Bruce.

A visitation for Song Ja will be held Tuesday, March 4, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, IL, followed by a celebration of life service at 11:00 AM. A committal service will be held Tuesday at 1:00 PM at Rosehill Cemetery, 5800 N. Ravenswood Ave, Chicago, IL.
