Uncle Bill's Funeral was just lovely, and sad, at the same time. The Military's Folding of the American Flag, and then proudly handing that Flag so gently to Aunt Jeanne was beautiful, and also tearful. It was nice to see my Milito Family, close cousins, and friends there, too. And, afterwards, we all enjoyed some very delicious Italian food, and drinks at a very nice Italian Restaurant, the name of that place says it all, and I have never been there before either, but we will go there again, to enjoy that restaurant with close family in the future sometime. Again, Aunt Jeanne, and Nick, Steve, and Johnny, I'm so sorry for your loss. And, I hope you are all doing well, too.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Aunt Jeanne, Nick, Steve and Johnny at this very difficult time. May peace, love and comfort surround you and your family.

I have endless and precious memories of Uncle Bill and your family when growing up. They will always be cherished and never be forgotten. I also have wonderful photos of him and my dad in the military together that are priceless. They were the best of friends.

Uncle Bill was so loved by all whose lives he touched and he will be greatly missed. I am so blessed to have known him.

I remember when I was a young boy, fishing at Camp Lake WI, playing soft ball there, playing those games at the Marchuk's Diner, and other fun stuff, with my favorite cousins, Steve and Nick, and eventually Johnny. My dad and Uncle Bill would be enjoying conversations, maybe a few beers. I liked how Uncle Bill would laugh. I will remember Uncle Bill as a dedicated husband, and a loving father, and just a very kind man, and easy going. I remember how "kindly" upset he would get towards Steve and Nick, when their fishing lines would get all "taggled up" when fishing on the paddle boat. Those were fun times at Camp Lake, and at their nice "large" brick duplex home in Chicago, near Fullerton Avenue, and at Riis Park, too. I also remember playing Hot Wheels with Steve and Nick at their home, and walking up all those steps, on the porch side, to get there. And, seeing Uncle Bill playing cards with my dad, my mom, and Aunt Jeanne. And, hearing Uncle Bill getting frustrated when he was losing. I remember Aunt Jeanna getting stressed out, bummed out, every time, when the Chicago Cubs would "blow it" at the last Innings, which was very common unfortunately. BUT, I was so happy, when the Chicago Cubs FINALLY WON, after how many years? The first people that I remembered, after they WON, was Uncle Bill and Aunt Jeanne. I was so happy that Uncle Bill and Aunt Jeanne were still alive to ENJOY that wonderful, and long overdue WIN. I was also comforted to hear that Uncle Bill passed peacefully in his sleep; the best way to leave this world. I want to say to my dear Aunt Jeanne, and to my favorite cousins Steve, Nick, and Johnny, I'm sorry that we "lost touch" with you'all, for so many years. My life wasn't so easy back in those past years, but no excuse. What did we usually say before to each other, "The only time that we see each other now, is at Weddings and Funerals". So, I hope that you can forgive me. I have fond and happy childhood memories of the Marchuk Family. (cont.)

I’ve enjoyed having Bill as my neighbor for years.  He was such a nice man and always welcomed me into his home.  I will dearly miss him.  I’m glad he got to show me his Christmas tree just before Christmas!
