William Poulos

William Poulos, 91, fell asleep in the Lord on Jan 21, 2026; loving husband of Catherine (nee Cote); beloved father, father-in-law, and Papou of Diane Poulos and Ed Molina; Karen, Robert, Madeline, and Abigail Pavone; Maria Poulos and Erik Gloor; Christine, Demetri, Katerina, and Elisabeth Andreadis; and Allison, Ben, and Cate Chiovari. Loving brother of Chrisanthe (the late William) Tsatsos and Louis (the late Bess) Poulos. Beloved brother-in-law of Frank and Debbie Cote. Uncle of Chris, Liz, and Logan Cote; Matt, Lori, Riley, and Layne Cote; and Adam, Katy, and Mavis Cote. Devoted son of the late Tom and the late Adamantia (nee Diamant) Poulos.

His sense of joy and silliness will be sorely missed by all who knew him. May his memory be eternal.

A visitation will be held at Oehler Funeral Home, located at 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, IL, on January 28, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The funeral service will take place at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 2350 E. Dempster St., Des Plaines, on January 29, 2026, at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Town of Maine Cemetery, 2101 W. Touhy Ave., Park Ridge, IL.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church or the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
