Yon Hack Jung

Yon H Jung was a beloved husband, father to three daughters, and grandfather to nine grandchildren. He was also a devoted eldest brother to seven siblings, a gracious uncle and brother-in-law, and faithful church member. As a pillar of his community, he demonstrated how to work hard, laugh often, and love sacrificially. He enjoyed taking pictures, eating good food, serving at church, and spending time with friends and family.

Surrounded by his loved ones, he bravely battled cancer until the Lord called him home in peace. His passing is a profound loss for us, but we rejoice in his eternal rest in the Lord and the legacy of love he leaves for his family.

A visitation will be held on Monday January 6, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St., Des Plaines, IL. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 7:00PM. The next day, Tuesday January 7, there will be a farewell gathering at 9:30AM at Oehler Funeral Home. It will close with prayer at 10:30, followed by a procession to Randhill Park Cemetery, 1700 W. Rand Rd., Arlington Heights, IL for a graveside service at 11:30AM. All who want to join any part of this is welcome.

하나님의 사랑하는 아들 정연학 집사님 께서 2024년 12월 25일 (수) 향년 80 세로 하나님의 부르심을 받으셨습니다. 그는사랑하는 가족들이 지켜보는 가운데 편안히 주님 품안에 안기시기까지, 용기있게 암과 투병하셨습니다.

집사님은 사랑하는 남편이자 세 딸의 아버지,그리고 아홉 손주들의 할아버지셨습니다.

그는 팔 형제 중 헌신적인 맏아들이셨고 자상한 삼촌이자 처남이며 신실한 교인이셨습니다. 그는 공동체의 기둥으로 늘 웃으면서 열심히 일하고, 희생적으로 사랑하는 방법을 몸소 보여 주셨습니다. 그는 미식가였으며 사진 찍는것과, 교회에서 봉사하고, 친구 그리고 가족과 함께 시간 보내는 것을 즐겨 하셨습니다.

아버지의 죽음이 우리에겐 큰 슬픔이지만, 그래도 우리는 그가 주님 품안에서 누리는 영원한 안식을 기뻐하며, 아버지가 가족에게 남기신 사랑의 유산에 크게 감사를 드립니다.
