Young Mee Lee

하나님의 사랑하는 딸 이영미 성도님께서 2021년 10월29일(금) 향년 67세로 하남님의 부르심을 받으셨기에 부고합니다.

Young Mee Lee was born on November 18, 1953 in Seoul, Korea. She met her husband Chun Shik Lee at university, and they wed soon in 1974. In her twenties, she worked as a journalist and social worker while also having two children, Monica and Christine. In 1984, she and her husband immigrated to America with their children in order to provide them with a better education. Over the next three decades, she and her husband owned and operated many different businesses, including a toy store, a shoe repair store, an accessories store, and a dry cleaning chain. She retired to Chicago in 2017 to be closer to her children and their families. She was a beautiful author, a gifted artist, and an imaginative crafter. She enjoyed traveling with friends and family, always showered her grandchildren with love, and loved to stay in close contact with her friends. She was warm, generous, and optimistic about the world.

She is survived by her husband Chun Shik Lee as well as her daughters Monica Milligan and Christine Lee, son-in-laws Kelly Milligan and Ken Wong, and grandchildren Emma, Sawyer, Charlotte and Sebastian. She is also survived by her sisters Yong Ja Walsh, Yong Soon Ok, Yong Hui Hwang, Yong Ok Orack, and Yong Shin Rhee.
