
Fred was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan, one of seven children, to the late Harlow B. and Ada (London) Corwin. After graduating high school, Fred continued his Education at Eastern Michigan University and the University of Michigan. Fred was a long-time fifth grade teacher for Huron Valley Schools, retiring in 1995.
Fred had a love for all sports; while playing softball, he was introduced to Constance Dompkey and the two were soon wed.
They shared more than 54 years together. Fred was a avid golfer playing 18 to 32 holes a day. He also loved animals especially recue animals anything from ‘The Thump’ rabbit to a Portuguese Water Dog could find a good home with Fred and Connie.
Fred is survived by his wife Constance Corwin of Dexter and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded in death by siblings, Kathleen Thornton, Harlow Jr. (Bud) Corwin, Lillian Vasher, Leroy Corwin, Wanda Looby, Sarah (Sally) Daman.
Per Fred’s request no public services will be held.
