James Sinnott

James Michael Sinnott of Dexter, son of Mary and the late Maurice Sinnott, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2013, surrounded by his loving family at Chelsea Hospital. He was born on July 25, 1950 in Ann Arbor and was a life-long U of M fan. Jim is survived by his devoted wife Mary Kay; his two children Katie (Grand Rapids) and Patrick (Dexter); two brothers, Bill (Bonnie) and Dan (Julie); two sisters, Mary Katherine (Richard) Mahan and Margaret Celizic; several nieces, nephews and in-laws. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, March 26th, 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Village Church. Father Brendan Walsh will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery. The family will receive friends March 25th from 4-8 PM at Hosmer-Muehlig Funeral Chapel in Dexter, with a scripture service beginning at 7:00 PM. Friends may also visit on the 26th one hour prior to mass at the church. For those wishing, memorial contributions may be made to Brothers of the Poor of St. Francis, St. Joseph Catholic Church or Brain Injury Association of Michigan.
