John was the son of Richard and Mary Rose Borges, both deceased, and was preceded in death by his son Jared and his brother Philip.
He is survived by his children, Heather (Rob) and Eric (Erin); his grandchildren, Claire, Sophie, Scarlett, Benny, and Jack, who brought him endless joy; and his siblings: Rick (Kay), Ron (Debbie, deceased), Diane (Ronnie), and Dan (Bill).
John loved the outdoors—fishing, hunting, and being in nature whenever he could. He was known for his playful sense of humor that made ordinary moments memorable, and for his true passion for Wendy’s Frosties, peanut butter pie, and cherry Coke.
In keeping with his final wish, John will be spread in nature, where he found his greatest joy. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
