Julia Krisztin Graham

Graham (Papp), Julia Krisztin Dexter, MI Died Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at 43 years of age. She was born on June 8, 1969 in Wilmington Delaware, the daughter of Frank Joseph Papp and Betty Ann Jodlbauer. Julie married Charles Arbe Graham on August 26th, 1989 in Ann Arbor, MI, then moved to Clarksville Tennessee. Julie attended college at Saint Mary’s College in South Bend, Indiana before marrying Chuck. Julie joined the Army and served from 1992-1996. On February 28th 1993 she gave birth to her son, Ty Christian Graham. On November 8th, 1994 she gave birth to her daughter, Chelsea Krisztin Graham. After the Army, in 1997 she began work for the US Postal Service and moved to Hendersonville, TN. In November 2000, she moved back to Michigan and worked at Thomson-Shore in Dexter. She later began working for the University of Michigan Plant Services. While working at Plant Services, she completed her Bachelor’s degree on line through DePaul University in Chicago. Being a mother was her passion and she loved to take care of the family. She was always more concerned with other people more than herself. While in Clarksville she had a small garden, and when she moved back to Dexter she continued the garden in a large way; she loved to work in the garden. She loved watching birds and would put out feeders to be able to watch them in the yard. Later, her love of birds led to her getting and keeping chickens. She took immense joy in watching musical performances by her children, Ty and Chelsea. She was preceded in death by her mother. She is survived by her husband Chuck, son Ty, and her daughter Chelsea. A memorial mass will take place at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Ann Arbor on Friday June 15, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:30 a.m. A reception will take place after mass at St. Thomas.
