

Born in Halifax, Ann was a daughter of Laura (Morehouse) Tidd and the late Roy Winston “Dickie” Tidd. Ann was artsy and enjoyed making crafts and sharing her gifts with others. She enjoyed the simple things that life had to offer and spending time with family and friends meant the most. Ann loved Christmas and decorated for every occasion, she always threw the best parties. She loved her family and looking after children; she had her own daycare for many years. Ann also enjoyed spending time in her gardens and beach combing. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, especially her best friend, Diana Denton.
Besides her mother, Ann is survived by her husband, Randy Hudson; daughter, Taylor Hudson; step-son, Dylan Hudson (Sara Jodrey), Calgary; sister, Janis Gidney; brother, Bruce Tidd; nieces and nephews, Stephanie Gidney, Nathan Gidney, Beverley Chan and Laura Belliveau. Besides her father, Ann was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Veva and T. Ralph Morehouse and paternal grandparents, Lola and Alton Tidd.
A graveside service will be held at 11am, on Friday May 4, 2018 in Sandy Cove Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Mark Cress presiding.
