

Trimper, Carl Norman -94, Greenland, Annapolis Co.; passed away Saturday February 11th, 2012 in Annapolis Royal Nursing Home. Born in Greenland, Carl was a son of the late Norman and Edna (Parker) Trimper. Carl was self employed, peddling meats, home smoked hams,bacons and sauerkraut. Later he worked for N.S power corp. Carl enjoyed visiting neighbors and friends in his truck and in later years on his scooter. Carl also enjoyed making ax handles, fishing and playing checkers.Carl loved his grandchildren dearly and will be greatly missed. Carl is survived by sons, Clarence (Marg), Caledonia; Jackey (Lisa), Greenland; Brian (Judy), Bear River East; brothers, Everett and Clyde both of Greenland, grandchildren, Kati, Shelley, Cindy, Tony, Craig and Blake; great grandchildren, Adam, Georgia, Jenelle, Dianna, Maranda, Ashley and Mackenzie, several nieces and nephews. Carl was predeceased by his wife Vera (Milbury), daughters, Beverley and Patricia in infancy; grandson, Benjamin; great grandson, Ezra; sisters, Viola, Bertha, Edith also a sister in infancy, brothers, Walter, Gerald, Willard and Herbie. Visitation 7-9pm, Wednesday February 15th at Jayne’s Funeral Home, 7 Birch St., Digby (245-2525). Funeral Service 2pm, Thursday February 16th in Clementsvale Baptist Church. Pastor Herb Anderson presiding. Interment in Mount Hope Cemetery, Bear River. Family flowers only, donations may be made to Clementsvale Baptist Church or a charity of choice.
