Catherine “Cathy” Louise Anne Comeau – Age 59, passed away on May 13th, 2025, at the Digby General Hospital with family by her side. Born in Digby, she was the daughter of the late Emile and Zita (Thibault) Comeau. Cathy enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, walks along the beach, baking treats and curling up with a good book. She especially enjoyed spending time with her cats Lillie and Lulu and her grandcats Millie and Papaya and the late Manny. Her favorite pass time was spending quality time and going shopping with her daughter Stephanie.
Cathy is survived by her loving spouse of 40+ years, Randy Speichts; her daughter Stephanie (Jason) Riley and her sister Paulette Comeau. Aside from her parents, Cathy is predeceased by her son Dwaine Speitchts; brothers Brian and Gaetan Comeau and sister Diane Muise.
Donations in memory of Cathy may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Cremation has taken place under the care of Jayne’s Funeral Home, Digby.
