

Born in Plympton , she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Levina (Comeau) Amero and the last surviving member of her immediate family. Cecelia was a devoted, loving mother and was always there for her family. She was a chartered member of St. Patrick’s Church CWL in Digby and her Ladies Club for years. Many little hands were kept warm by her knitted mittens she donated. She will dearly missed by all but leaves beautiful memories.
She is survived by daughters Patricia Hanlon, Susan Patenaude, sons Michael (Lynn), Bruce (Wanda), Gary (Wanda), Peter (Ann), Alan (Linda) many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great -great –grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Harold, of 63 years of marriage, brothers Arthur, Willard, Irving and a sister Theresa (Pottier), son in law Maurice Hanlon, grandsons Jeffrey, and Douglas and great grandson Devin.
Visitation will be Sunday , December 8 from 6-8pm from Jayne’s Funeral Home, 7 Birch St. Digby (902-245-2525). Funeral service will be 11am Monday, December 9 from St Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, Digby. Father Raymond Odumuko will officiate with burial in Madonna Cemetery, Marshalltown.
