

Chuck enlisted in the Royal Canadian Navy, and sailed to many ports of call on assigned duties. He was a humble and proud Canadian Veteran. Chuck served our nation with unwavering dedication, demonstrating exceptional courage and commitment to protecting the values that he holds dear.
During his working career he held positions with Bird Construction, Dexter Construction and Bear River Plastic Welders Inc. Chuck enjoyed working with his hands, building and creating things excited him and he was in his element.
Chuck’s passion was being outside in nature. He loved hunting and fishing, so during hunting and fishing season, you would find him in the woods or sitting on the banks of a river, stream or body of water. This man was an exceptional, knottologist (a modern day fly fish knot tyer/maker of fishing hooks).
Chuck had several hobbies, collecting guns, sharpening knives, drinking coffee, leather and searching in isles of Canadian Tire for sales.
Special thanks to Dan Toth, Jeffrey Cromwell, James Marshall, Scott Gushue, Buzzy Hersey, and Aldean Cromwell for the kindness, friendship and support you gave to Chuck. If only we could hear Chuck say one more time, turn the coffee pot on,pick up a jug of milk, can I get a ride to Canadian Tire and is that a deer in that field ?
Chuck is survived by his loving partner, Wendy Robinson; step sons, Nicholas and Christopher Robinson; step grandchildren, Mackenzie, Kiara, Kiaya , Rhaya, Christopher, Brycen as well as niece, Marleena Duncan.
Besides his parents, Chuck was predeceased by his son, Christopher Fawcett and sister, Heather Vince.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 26 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm with funeral service on Wednesday, August 28 at 2pm all from Jayne’s Funeral Home, Digby. Chuck Daniels will officiate with burial in Maplewood Cemetery.
