

Born in Digby, N.S., Charlotte was the daughter of Harry Trimper and Freda Trimper (Roope). She was also the wife of James (Jim) Hayden.
Charlotte had many jobs over the years but one of the earliest was as part of the kitchen staff at the Digby Pines Hotel, where she met her husband, Jim. She also worked in the kitchen at the Digby General Hospital. Her last job was at Tideview Terrace. She eventually decided to stay home to devote her time to raising her daughter, Andrea. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed baking, reading her bible and spending time with her grandchildren. She and Jim were rarely apart and were devoted to each other for over 50 years.
She is survived by her husband James Hayden of Kingston, N.S.; daughter Andrea Bailey (Paul), Windsor, N.S; Grandchildren Liam and Sienna; along with nieces and a nephew.
Charlotte was predeceased by her father Harry Trimper, her mother Freda Trimper and her sister Margaret Trimper.
Funeral will take place at Jayne’s Funeral Home on Thursday, April 2nd at 11:00am with a closed casket visitation beforehand.
