David will be remembered for his smile and sense of humor, his love of driving fast whether it was his dirt bikes, ATV’s or his big brown truck. David loved motocross racing and snowmobiling with his father in the Cape Breton and the mountains of British Columbia. He lived his life to the fullest and he enjoyed the simple life. If you were looking for David, you could find him out on the water fishing or at home with his dog, Ellie and cat, Kiwi. His animals were one of the most important things to him.
David is survived by his father, Arthur Smith (Stacy); siblings, Kimberly Olsen (Barret) and Holly Griffiths-Balser (Stephen); his nieces Bella, Piper, Thora, Charlie and Peyton and many aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his biological father Walter Smith and his grandparents Velda and Harry Griffiths and Helen and Amos Smith.
