Emerson Earling McCullough

McCullough, Emerson Earling, age 83 Mount Pleasant, Digby Co. passed away August 27, 2012 in the Digby General Hospital. Born in Tiddville, Digby Co. he was a son of the late Harold and Sara (Stark)McCullough. He was a carpenter and fisherman and also operated a farm in Tiddville. Surviving are daughters Marion (Wayne) Deveau, Port Maitland , Yarmouth Co.; Ramona McCullough, Moncton; Monica (Donnie) Stanton, Tiverton, Digby Co.; sons Brian MCCullough, Mount Pleasant; Emerson (Diane) McCullough Jr., Pubnico; Troy (Sue) McCullough, North Range, Digby Co. Ross (Kim Comeau) McCullough, Seawall, Digby Co. sisters Nettie Outhouse, Port Maitland; Marg Davidson, Digby: Beulah Burns, BC; brothers Nelson McCullough, Digby: Doug McCullough, Yarmouth; 15 grandchildren, 15 great- grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Rosalea, brothers Sheldon and Ronnie McCullough, sister Erna Nickerson and grandson Nicholas. Visitation 2-4 & 7-9 pm Wednesday from Jayne’s Funeral Home 7 Birch St. Digby. Funeral Service will be 11am Thursday from the Little River Baptist Church, Little River. Pastor Noel Facey will officiate with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery, Little River. Donations in memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
