

George "Carmen" Paynter of Deep Brook, Annapolis Co.Nova Scotia died peacefully at the Annapolis Community Health Centre, Annapolis Royal, on Saturday, September 1st, 2018. Born in Freetown, PEI on January 20, 1939.
He was a loving husband of Brenda Trevors who was an ardent, faithful wife and best friend who supported Carm in all aspects of his life during these exceptional years.
Carmen is also survived by his son Rob (Jackie) of Kelvin Grove, PE; granddaughters Amy and Emily; devoted sister, Marlene Marshall, Charlottetown, PE; respected and loved by stepson Jeff Trevors (Kate), Coldbrook; cherished uncle of Terri Tremblett, Trevor Marshall, Tracey MacIsaac and their families. Predeceased by his parents, Jack and Gladys Paynter and infant son, Dean.
Cremation has taken place under the care of Jayne’s Funeral Home, 7 Birch Street, Digby. A gathering for family and friends will be at the funeral home on Saturday, September 15th, 2018 from 7 pm to 9pm.
