Wilkins, Gerald “Jerry” Anciel- It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Jerry at the age of 65, on July 13,2015 at the Kings Regional Rehab Center, Waterville. Born on October 15, 1949 , he was a son of Marion (Thibideau) Wilkins , Digby and the late Anciel Wilkins. Besides his mother Marion, Jerry is survived by brothers Terry and Kendall, Digby; sister Marilyn (Danny), Conway; brother in law Gary, Digby; nieces and nephews and his old friends in Digby, his “special family” at Gateways Unit, the KRRC staff who affectionately called him “Grampie” and were always by his side with loving care .He was predeceased by his father Anciel, brother Timothy and sister Nancy. Visitation will be 7-9pm Wednesday from Jayne’s Funeral Home 7 Birch St. Digby (902-245-2525) and from where funeral service will be 2pm Thursday. Rev. Donald Robertson will officiate with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Digby. Donations in memory can be made to the charity of your choice.
