James Isaac Lewis, 91, of Rossway, passed away Dec. 23, 2022 in Digby General Hospital. Born Dec. 29, 1930, he was the last surviving child of Watson and Mary Lewis. James is survived by his wife, Nancy (Ellis); 2 daughters, Margo (Bruce) Nickerson and Debi Dondale; 3 sons, James, Michael (Diana), and Sam (Jill); 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. He was a licensed mechanic and arc welder, but spent the majority of his life as a lobster/weir fisherman. He was predeceased by his parents, 9 brothers and 4 sisters. He has been cremated under the care of Jayne’s Funeral Home, by request there will be no visitation or funeral.
