TRIMPER, Janice Louella – 54 of Greenland, Annapolis County, passed into the loving arms of her Lord on January 11th, 2014 at the Annapolis Community Health Centre, after many years of battling Crohn’s disease and, at the latter end, cancer. Born in Yarmouth, NS, she was the youngest daughter of Norma Deborah and the late Joseph Ralph Dugas of Yarmouth. She was a graduate of Yarmouth Consolidated Memorial High School and Bethany Bible College, Sussex, NB. Janice fought many battles with a relentless case of Crohn’s disease and she always emerged triumphant. She worked hard at living a normal life and did it with energy and enthusiasm. Always creative and artistic in everything she touched, she worked for 20 years in jewellery retail and engraving, and served in several Baptist churches beside her husband with her gifts of teaching, singing, acting, creating, decorating and inspiring. She was a loving, devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister who did her best to help bear everyone else’s burdens in spite of her own. Her life has been an inspiration and a Christian testimony to so many around her. Janice is survived by husband, Roger, son, Kyle, mother, Norma Dugas, sisters, Pamela Baxter, Kitchener, Ont.; Cheryl Goudey, Halifax; Sandra Goudey, Kingston, Ont.; brother, Eric, Port Maitland and 17 nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, Tuesday January 14th from Jayne’s Funeral Home, 7 Birch Street, Digby (245-2525). Funeral Service will be held at 1 pm, Wednesday, January 15th from Parker’s Cove Baptist Church, led by Rev. Jeff George with Rev. Mark Baker. Interment will be at the Greenland Cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to the Ileitus-Colitus Foundation, VON, or Palliative Care Unit at Annapolis Community Health Centre. Leave on-line condolences at www.jaynesfuneralhome.com
