Dear Clyne, Wayne, Tim and Neil;
I was saddened to come across Larry's obituary - quite unexpectedly. I am sorry to learn of his passing. I have very fond memories of us playing together as boys on 2nd Ave. I particularly remember Larry's keen imagination and kindness. His vocie was a kind voice. As I knew him, he carried a genuine humility and warm sense of humour. I do not remember him ever speaking critically or crudely of another person. The early Star Trek craze seemed to be made for his far reaching imagination and playful nature. I have been forever grateful for the kindness of the entire Boodoosingh family and I have more than once surprised West Indian folk by responding with an enthusiastic 'yes'! when asked, "Do you like roti?" And then they are even more surprised when I say; :"I'm sorry this is not as good as Nellie's!" I am rather proud of having been initiated into the pleasures of good curry and roti at such a young age. My warm memories of Larry are indelibly intertwined with my warm memories of the entire Boodoosingh family. I am saddened by Larry's loss. I offer my deepest condolences to all the family and assurance of my hearttfelt prayers over the days to come. And if I may be so bold - I extend to you on behalf of our father, Philip and mother Shirley (both deceased), my brothers Lance and George and sister Pearl, our sympathies and care. Lani and Family, happened to click on this site to check my mother's listing and noticed Larry here.  Want you to know that we are praying for you.  We remember your dad as a gentle loving man who loved and adored his daughter very much.  He wanted to do the best he could in the things that he did.  He kept God in the forefront to give him direction and guidance.  We was also very serious about doing things God's way.  Larry will be gone from the earth but not forgotten and we thank God that he will live on through you.
