Marilyn Estelle Knevel

Knevel, Marilyn Estelle (Lloyd) - Age 72 of Moose Mountain, NB passed away peacefully in Barton, Digby Co., Nova Scotia on January 3rd 2017. Born in Saint John NB, she was the daughter of the late Turney and Estelle (Higgins) Lloyd. Marilyn travelled to Moose Mountain, NB where she lived and worked on the family farm for many years. She worked hard to become a school teacher, teaching 35 years in Grand Falls NB, and Oshawa ON. She is survived by sons, Anthonie (Julie) Knevel, Theo (Barb) Knevel; sisters, Lucille Sweeney, Paulette Ruff; grandchildren, Luke, Layla, Ophelia Knevel, nieces and nephews, Lloyd Sweeney, Kathy Cannon, Mary, Chester, Paul, Mark, Peggy and June Lloyd. Besides her parents, Marilyn was predeceased by her husband, Henry Drier and brother, Clarence Lloyd. Cremation has taken place under the care of Jayne’s Funeral Home, Digby. There will be visitation 2-4 and 7-9 pm, on Sunday, January 8th at L.R. Giberson Funeral Home, Florenceville, NB with a funeral mass at 11am on Monday, January 9th at St. John the Evangelist Parish, Johnville, NB. Father Owen Burns will preside.
