Allen, Mary Laura Katherine "Kay" , age 80, Marshalltown , Digby Co. passed away suddenly July 5 ,2013 at home. Born in Canso, Guysborough Co. She was a daughter of the late Sylvester Patrick and Blanche Anastacia ( Fogarty) O’Hearn. Kay was a very loving mother and wife. She loved to go to Tim Horton’s everyday. She also loved yard sales and meet all the different people. She loved her cat Fluffy. She will be greatly missed by her husband Arnold and the family. Surviving are daughters Mary Doucet, Sunken Lake; Debbie ( Roger) Thibault , Hebron, Yarmouth Co; step-daughter Debbie Thomas, Digby; son Patrick (Janet) Sproule, Overton, Yarmouth Co; sisters Alice , Ontario; Margaret (Peggy) , California; brothers Tom O’Hearn, Guysborough; , George O’Hearn, Mississauga, Ont. 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters Amy, and Gloria, brothers Pat , Kay and Ray. No service by request. Donations in memory can be made to the charity of your choice.
