Mary "Jo" Cole

Age 84 of North Range passed away March 6th, 2017 in Digby General Hospital. Mary loved her family and having them around; she enjoyed cooking for them and the family said she had the best buns (homemade bread) in town. She enjoyed Frenchy shopping, knitting and listening to Willy’s Roadhouse, she also loved her cats and her pool, regardless the temperature. Mary is survived daughters, Joanne (Bob) Eckersley; Donna (John) Beatson; Susan (Percy) Pacific, all of Hamilton, Ont.; Debbie (Jeff) Handspiker; Linda Balser; Margaret Cole all of Digby; Bonnie (Richard) Thibodeau, Calgary; Wanneata Young, Annapolis; sons, Danny (Sharon) Cole, Digby; Dale (Jean) Cole, Ottawa, Ont.; Karl (Shelly) Cole, North Range; John (Sharon) Cole, Smithville, Ont. and A.J. (Patty) Cole, Cornwallis; grandchildren; Ashley, Jake, Danielle, Kyle, Chad, Tyler, Jody, Shilo, Shaun, Natasha, Nicole, Denise, Leroy, Jamie, Laurie, Michael, Lisa, Erin, Nigel, Nadine, Joshua, Megan, Brandi, Christina and Bobbie-Joe; many lovely great grandchildren. Mary was predeceased by husband, Aaron Cole; son, Bobby Cole; mother, Eileen; brother, Junior and five sisters. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be 7-9 Thursday March 9th at Jayne’s Funeral Home, Digby (902-245-2525). A celebration of Mary’s Life will be at 2pm Friday March 10th in North Range United Baptist Church, Pastor Linda DeMone presiding. Family Flowers only.
