Reg had three main loves in his life: family, fishing, and community. With six children and many grandchildren, family gatherings were always chaotic, noisy, and fun. His boisterous laugh filled the room, and we will always remember him asking all the littles “What are you good for?” A fisherman for 52 years, Reg always said if you love what you do, you never work a day in your life. An active volunteer for over 65 years, Digby is better for his involvement and steady hand. We know he’s now somewhere fishing on calm waters.
Reg is survived by his wife, Donna (Everitt) Hazelton, Sister Edith Trimper. Daughters Wendy (Grant) St. Germaine, Prince Albert SK; Cara (Ben Jones), Fredericton NB; and sons Vance (Ann) Hazelton, Digby; Derek, Landis SK; Step sons Roy Nicholl, Fredericton NB; and Bob Nicholl (Andrea Wilson), Meteghan.
Grandchildren: [Wendy] Geoff (Jenna Neiley) St. Germaine, Ashley (Dave Chamberlain) St. Germaine; [Vance] Bradley (Mildred) Hazelton, Chantelle (Chad Stewart), James (Amanda Braggs); [Roy] Oisín Lautard-Nicholl; [Bob] Megan (Bradly White) Nicholl, Alex and Lexi Comeau; [Cara] Marie-France and Maxime Bérubé.
