Rose Elaine Jarvis

Jarvis, Rose Elaine, 85 of Tideview Terrace, Conway, Digby Co. and formerly of Weymouth Falls, passed away March 21, 2017 in Tideview Terrace. Born in Southville, Digby Co. she was a daughter of the late Melbourne and Jenny (Bright) Cromwell. She was a Life member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxillary Branch # 67 Weymouth, member of St. Theresa‘s Roman Catholic Church, Southville, chartered member Weymouth Historical Society, and the Weymouth Garden Club. Rose loved painting, cooking and enjoyed working in her garden. Surviving are daughters Elizabeth (Edward Belliveau) Carter, Dartmouth; Louise (James) Kearsley, Middleton; Monica (Gerald Heisler) Jarvis, Middleton; Laura (Albert Buckle) , St. Albert, Alberta; sons Joseph Jarvis , Weymouth Falls; Patrick (Joanna) Jarvis, Weymouth Falls; Samuel (Colleen) Jarvis, Halifax; sister Phyllis (William ) Richards, Southville; brother Glidden (Grace) Cromwell, Southville; 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Gifford Jarvis, brothers, George, Norman, Leander, Richard, Donald, sisters Helen, Dorothy, grandchildren Shana and Sarah. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Jayne’s Funeral Home, Digby (902-245-2525). A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later.
