

Theriault, Sylvia Pearl, 82, of Digby, passed away April 10th, 2013 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital with family by her side. Sylvia was born in Digby, a daughter of the late Oswald and Mabel (Speichts) Banks.
Sylvia was a wonderful woman in every way imaginable: beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and loyal friend. She lived a life of loving service to her family, always humble and unselfish, yet witty and wise. She was an inspiration to many. Sylvia was cherished and will be greatly missed. She was a devoted follower of the Lord Jesus Christ and spent her last days speaking of her future with Him.
Sylvia is survived by her husband of 64 years, George Theriault, Digby; daughters, Gail Titus, Halifax; Rachel (Roger) Broderick, Halifax; Tam Theriault, Digby; sons, Cleveland (Sharon), Digby; Jamie, Digby; grandchildren, Yolanda, Jared, Nathan, Emily, Noah, Anique; great-grandchildren, Paris, Brayden, Kenzie; sisters, Ardreth, Arlene, Ella, Gloria, brother Douglas and numerous nieces and nephews. Sylvia was predeceased by daughter, Faye, sons in-law, Brad Titus and Rod Greenlaw, brothers, Cleveland, Wilfred, Arnold, Clayton and Alden. No visitation or flowers by request of the family. The family welcomes everyone to a Celebration of Sylvia’s Life at 1pm, Friday April 12th from Jayne’s Funeral Home, 7 Birch Street, Digby (245-2525). Rev. Bob Reid presiding.
