Vernon Robert McCullough-born Nov 30, 1938 in Riverdale, NS. Son of the late Sebry and Alicia (Mullen) McCullough. Survived by son Robert; grandson Joshua McCullough (Emily Lightfoot), Honorary grandchildren, Bailey Justason and Robert Justason. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by stepmother, Edith (Cosman) McCullough; son, Sebry Ernest; 8 brothers and 6 sisters. Survived by sisters, Wynona Naugler, Ontario and Freta Trimper, Digby. Also, sister-in-law Lennie (Weaver) and many nieces and nephews. Vernon moved back to Riverdale in March 2023 with his niece Pearl and LeRoy Marshall on a piece of land that was once his father's. Vernon worked in the woods, on hog farms and with horses for many years. He also helped look after his sister Ruby for many years. Vernon loved food! He also loved family get togethers but mostly because of the food. Vernon lived for horses and loved children as they were both naturally drawn towards Vernon. Burial will be in Southville Cemetery, on August the 3rd at 2pm, Victor McCullough to officiate. Donations in Vernon’s memory may be made to the Southville Cemetery.
