Franklin Kazuichi Abe was born on January 1, 1929 to Kenji and Shigeko Abe in Dinuba, California. Franklin was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Franklin’s passion for farming sprouted at an early age when he would work the soil with the tractor after school. His passion grew into what is known today as Abe-El Produce. As a farmer, visionary, businessman, family man and friend, he was a living testimony to his faith. On June 6, 2017, Franklin entered God’s heavenly gates leaving love and memories which will remain in our hearts forever.
Franklin is survived by Taye, his loving wife of almost 60 years, daughters and their husbands, Eileen and Peter Mesias , Lori and Gary Morita, Kelly and Derek Hayashi, 10 grandchildren, Matthew (and wife Rolana), Andrew (and wife Christie), Ashley, Trenton, Jordan, Taryn, Chad, Bryce, Paige and Brooke and his two great grandchildren, Eloise and James. He is also survived by sister Mollie Osato and brother Herbert Abe and many nieces and nephews. Franklin was preceded in death by sisters Fumiko Kawase, Mary Sakaguchi, Lily Nagata and Alice Kurihara.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at 12:30 pm at the PaUnited Methodist Church in Dinuba.
