Hazel Inez Sweeney was born in Holdenville, OK, on July 30, 1925. She died in Visalia, CA,on January 20, 2017, at the age of 91. Hazel worked as a preschool teacher and was the Dinuba Presbyterian Church secretary for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence A. Sweeney, and her son, Timothy Sweeney.
Hazel is survived by her Son, Larry Sweeney and daughers, Beverly Lewis of Dinuba, and Kathleen O'Neill of Carson City, NV; her brothers, Howard Dilbeck of Fresno, Bob Dilbeck of Visalia, and Jack Dilbeck of Redding, CA; 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 2, at Dopkins Funeral Chapel.
A Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date.
