James Alfred Allen of Reedley, CA, known to most as “Al” or “Alfred”, was born in Arkansas on 11/27/1944. He left us too soon on October 1, 2023 at the age of 78. Al was a welder by profession, but was very handy and could fix almost anything. He was known for his sayings like, “Let me tell you something…” or “You can get glad in the same pants you got mad in.” Al loved God and was a faithful member of Kingsburg Nazarene Church. He was a beloved husband, dad, grandpa, great grandpa, uncle, brother, and friend. He is survived by his wife Midge Allen, his 3 children, Cindy Dean (Richard Dean), Bobby Allen (Grace Allen), and Kevin Allen (Tiffany Allen), 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and several step/ bonus children, grandkids and great grandkids, all of which he loved dearly.
