Joyce Annette Soleno, born on June 20, 1956, in California, passed away on February 9, 2026, at the age of 69.
A longtime resident of Visalia, California, Joyce was a woman whose heart was as big as her spirit. She welcomed everyone with open arms and a love that made people feel instantly at home. She was a wonderful listener who offered thoughtful, life-learned advice during difficult times. To many, she was more than a friend — she was a second mom.
Joyce was her children’s greatest supporter and fiercest protector. She would sacrifice anything for their well-being. She was not only a mother to her children , She was also their best friend and the heart of every gathering. Wherever her children were, everyone expected Joyce to be there too — often the life of the party, bringing laughter, warmth, and her vibrant energy.
She loved traveling, hunting, and living life fully. She believed in getting up and going rather than sitting around talking about it. Her adventurous spirit and zest for life inspired those around her.
Joyce’s love and motherly guidance touched a great multitude of people, and her vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her son, Daniel Prado JR and his wife Vanessa Prado; her son, Raymond Prado and his wife Graciela Prado; and her daughter, Tinamarie Espinoza and her husband Oscar Espinoza. She is also survived by her sisters Sandra, Rosemarie, Clara, Susan, and Miriam; her brothers Richard, Gary, Augie, Joseph, and Pete Jr. (deceased); her eight beloved grandchildren; and her cherished puppy, Missy, whom she loved unconditionally.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents Pedro Lazano Barragan, Albertina Hernandez, beloved husband Gilbert Andrew Soleno and her brother Pete Jr.
