Marina Villarreal of Cutler was a mother of six children, grandmother, and great grandmother. She worked at Ruiz Foods and as a farm laborer. She passed away at the age of 94 at Palm Village Retirement Community in Reedley on Friday, November 14, 2025. She will be laid to rest at Smith Mountain Cemetery.
Surviving Mrs. Villarreal are her:
• Three sons: Gerardo Villarreal of Orosi, Cleofas Villarreal of Orosi, and Jose Cruz Villarreal of Visalia
• Three daughters: Alicia Alvarez of Reedley, Martha Lowrey of Cutler, and Olga Villarreal of Dinuba
• 14 Grandchildren
• 19 Greatgrandchildren—and one more on the way!
• Brother: Aurelio Alvarado of Orosi
She enjoyed taking care of her many grandchildren, drinking coffee, and loved going to the casino and IHOP. She was a passionate baker and cook, making homemade tortillas, tamales, panecitos, empanadas, and buñuelos!
Her Celebration of Life Service will be held at Christian Worship Center Dinuba on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at 10 a.m.
