

Pete Jackson, age 76 was born in Milan, Indiana to Fleetie Elwood Jackson and Hazel Marie Jackson. Pete grew up in Guilford, Indiana on the family tobacco farm. He loved his grandfather, Doll Wells who was his mentor in life.
Pete attended school in Indiana until 1954. He moved to Glendora, California and attended Citrus High School where he excelled in geography.
Pete had a careers of work through his life. First as a hod carrier, then as a employee of a gas station maintenance company. He worked on the Glendora Tunnel. His life long profession which he retired from was a plaster and business owner.
Pete married Carole Husband on August 31, 1958. They started their married life together in Glendora, California and then later settled in Chino, California where they raised their three children, Richard Fitzgerald ( Laura) Greg Jackson (Corinne) and Michelle Zylstra (Tim). Then on to Reedley, California where he retired with Carole.
Pete was a hard worker. He had lots of pride in his family. We loved to fix up trucks and cars. Pete was a good friend to many. He could always be counted on to help out as friends needed.
Pete is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Carole Jackson, his 3 children, 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grand children.
Pete's memorial service will be held on March 14, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Dinuba. Donations may be made to your choice of organizations in Pete's memory.
