Viatris Torrez, was born on July 29, 1947 in Johnston, Colorado. She grew up In San Antonio, Texas where she would later meet her future husband Manuel M. Torrez. After life as a military wife, Viatris and Manuel would move to California, and settle in Woodlake to raise their family.
Viatris lived life, enjoying God's gifts and blessings to the fullest everyday. Her greatest blessings are her grandchildren who she leaves behind, Felicia Torrez, David A. Medina, Lilliana Medina, Harvey Navarrette Jr., Ani Torrez, JJ Pena, Marcus Pena, Kira Navarro, Angel Torrez, Jr., and Jacob Torrez.
Viatris left to be with the Lord on January 7, 2025, surrounded by the love and support of her children Linda Martinez, Yvonne Torrez, Manuel Torrez Jr., Kristie Torrez, and Angel Torrez.
She will be deeply missed, we have peace knowing that she'll be reunited with her Viejo and many loved ones.
