Abraham W Weinzimer

Born and raised in Flushing NY in 1957, Abe was a one of a kind husband, father, brother, friend, and boss . He lit up every room he walked into. His loving personality and warm smile touched everyone that he encountered.

For 35 beautiful years Abe was a devoted husband to Charlotte, the love of his life and life partner. Together they had three children: Adam, Julia and Scott. He was endlessly supportive, a steady presence, and a source of wisdom and comfort. His greatest joy came from watching his children grow into the remarkable people they are today.

Abe was the founder of DCAP insurance, or what he referred to as his “fourth child”. DCAP is a company he built from scratch in 1982, and continues to be successfully in business today

Those who knew Abe will never forget his warmth, strength, and the way he helped anyone and everyone in need. His generosity knew no limits. He was outrageously smart, creative, and loving. He saw the world in a different perspective than others-his life lessons will be forever remembered and respected. He will truly be missed by all.
