Barbara Gail Justus

August 14, 1942 – March 31, 2017

Barbara Justus, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, died unexpectedly on March 31, 2017. Born in Bronx, New York to Max and Roslyn Schneebaum, she married her high school sweetheart, Michael Justus, in 1962. They lived in Flushing, Queens before moving to East Northport, Long Island after their daughter Randi’s first birthday in 1968. Their son David was born two years later in 1970.

A lover of exploring, Barbara traveled worldwide and lived life to the fullest. Vibrant and beautiful inside and out, she was warm, hilarious, fun, caring, outgoing, generous, bold and thoughtful. Barbara opened her heart and home to everyone and was a true friend who was always there when needed.

She is survived by her beloved husband Michael Justus, sister Helene Rubin, daughter Randi Glazer and her husband Michael Ryan, son David Justus and his wife Stacey. She is also survived by her cherished and adored grandchildren, Reese and Mason Justus.
