Bernice Cohen

Born in Brooklyn NY, 4/25/27, she was the oldest daughter of Abe and Fanny Rutenberg.

Bunny predeceased her husband of 72 years, Lenny, by 36 hours and left this earth, as she lived, holding his hand.

Together they had 2 daughters, Marcia Feldman ( Elliot ) of Sharon, MA and Sherry Cohen of Hoboken NJ. She was the devoted sister of Gloria Bernstein of Bellmore NY.

Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Amanda ( Jon) Drobnis and Sarah ( Adam) Fogel. In later years she welcomed with open arms, her step- grandchildren, Adam

( Alison) Feldman and Josh ( Caroline) Feldman.

Great grandchildren rounded out her rich life with Ella, Landon, Jade, Eden, Piper and Shay..

Her nieces and nephews: Marna Margulis ( Mitch), Neil Bernstein ( Andrea), Mark Friedman, David Friedman ( Debbie) and Karen Jessen ( John) all played a prominent role in her life as she took great pride in all their accomplishments.

When not with family her happy place was the beach, made better with her sister, Gloria at her side and family nearby. .
