Joyce Gloria Kerber

On Monday, April 10, 2023, Joyce Gloria Kerber, loving sister, wife, mother and Nana passed away at the age of 79. Joyce was born on April 21, 1943, in Baltimore, MD to Pearl and Bernard Florman. Joyce was a proud homemaker and was once a sisterhood president at her local synagogue. Joyce married the love of her life, Jerome Kerber on September 20, 1964 and together they raised four children over their 59 year marriage.

Joyce was devoted to her family. Her two brothers, husband, children, and grandchildren made up her whole world. Joyce loved sewing, crocheting, traveling, entertaining and dancing and she was active in local politics. Joyce is survived by her husband Jerome her two brothers Gary and Stanley and four children, Stephanie, Melissa, Craig and Monica. Joyce also had six grandchildren Rebecca, Brooke, Larry Jr, Paige, Summer and Noah.

Joyce will be remembered for her tireless dedication to family and friends, her generosity and kindness towards others and her ability to make all feel welcomed and loved. Joyce will be greatly missed, but her memory will live on through all who knew her.

We will be forever grateful for all our mom has done for us. She will live forever in our hearts. May God Bless you always in heaven Mom. We love you more and more.

A graveside service for Joyce will be held on Sunday, April 16th at 11am at the New Montefiore Cemetery in West Babylon, NY.
