Linda E. Cohen

Linda Cohen, loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, grew up in Brooklyn, New York. She married the love of her life, Ira Cohen who preceded her in death in 2007; married for 48 years. They moved to Narberth, Pennsylvania and raised their two daughters, Susan and Nancy. Linda was a lifelong, devoted educator. She taught library skills at the Episcopal Academy in Devon, PA. Linda enriched the lives of many students over her career. She enjoyed swimming, walking, attending synagogue services on Friday nights and spending time with her family. She fought cancer for many years in her true fighting spirit and eventually succumbed to the disease. She will be missed by all who loved her including her family, her friends and her two dear caregivers Cindy LeBlanc and Denise Walker, who worked tirelessly to provide the most loving care.

Funeral services will be held at I.J. Morris, located at 21 East Deer Park Road, Dix Hills, New York, 11746, on August 24, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Burial will take place following the funeral services at the New Montefiore Cemetery in West Babylon, NY.
