Dear Mark 
Life had a way of creating challenges for you but you overcame them and became the top oral surgeon and had a great practice and I got to experience it myself. It’s not the same not having you to talk to and keep me on point.?Now and forever frani

Dr.  Swerdloff was one of the smartest and kindest people I knew. I remember first learning how to extract teeth with him by my side. He was a caring doctor and brilliant teacher.  I will miss him. My deepest and sincerest condolences to Rachel and the rest of his family.

I worked with DrSwerdloff  in the operating room for many years and was a colleague at the Dental school. I have very fond memories of his diligence and careful attention to detail with every patient. I was so sad to hear that he is gone. He will forever be remembered.

It is with great sadness that we just learned of Mark’s passing. He was an amazing man and will be dearly missed. Our profound condolences to  Carol and the entire Swerdloff family. With love; admiration and deep respect, David and Paula Peterson Roth.

I am so sorry to hear of Mark's Passing. He was an amazing person inside and out. Kind, caring, dedicated teacher, colleague and friend. He will always be remembered and loved. My heart goes out to his family. May he rest in peace.

Please accept our deepest condolences on the passing of Mark. Mark was an inspiration to all of us. He was my teacher, mentor, and Friend. Mark inspired countless number of students and residents in his chosen field of oral and maxillofacial surgery. His teaching methods and attention to detail are legendary.
Mark and I came to Stony Brook University school of dental medicine in the same year. He arrived as a new faculty in our department of Oral and maxillofacial surgery. I arrived as a first year student. For over 50 years, we have been colleagues, partners, and of course, a dear friend. I am so saddened to hear of his passing.
Please accept our deepest sympathy to his family in these trying times.

Relationships are special and fragile and above par So many of you have come from near and quite far the one thing that  Mar
i would say to all you for today That you are all so dear to me in an equal and unique way
So, let me tell you this as you celebrate my life today Having known each one of you has enriched my life you might say but most of all know this: I have done it all my way
Although the end of my life is finally here I have taken my final bows and brought down the curtain My friends and family I will state loud and clear That my life was fulfilled with love that is certain
I have lived a full life and been loved so true Please dry your tears and do not feel so blue I have traveled life’s highway and all I can say Mark : Did it in his  own special  way
Regrets I have had but they are so few
 
 
The one that stands out is that I am leaving all of you Each careful step that I walked along life’s highway Was traveled by me in my own unique way
The organizations that I belonged to, and the friends made along the way Will always remain in my heart and hear what I say I am proud to have known all of you that is true Remember how special you are each one of you
There were times when my children I am sure you knew When I bit off more that I could chew but through it all if you had any doubt I ate it up and spit it out. I faced it all I never did fall I did it MY WAY
I have laughed, loved and cried just like you I have had my fill of loses so true the courage that I faced when my time did come Let me know that I was brave when I did succumb
I loved my life and I know what I got children who adored me and respected me a lot They expressed their feelings and told me how they felt Even though they knew I received a hand that was misdealt.
Just know this forever and never forget

Please do not be sad and never regret
My feelings for all of you here will never sway This is  Mark
 and did it  my way.
You will always be my special angel
