Michael (Mike) Justus, beloved father, grandfather, uncle and friend, died peacefully in his sleep on December 31, 2022. Born in Manhattan, NY to Isfred and Gerta Justus. He married his high school sweetheart, Barbara, in 1962. They lived in Flushing, Queens before moving to East Northport, Long Island after their daughter Randi’s first birthday in 1968. Their son David was born two years later in 1970. Mike moved to Florida in 2020 to be near his daughter and her family.
Mike was a Partner at the CPA firm of Putterman, Rush and Shapiro, LLP for many years before their merger with Friedman, LLP (now Marcum LLP). He held a bachelor’s degree in accounting from New York University. Mike was a big fan of the NY Giants and the NY Yankees.
He is survived by his, daughter Randi Glazer and her husband Michael Ryan, son David Justus and his wife Stacey. He is also survived by his cherished and adored grandchildren, Reese and Mason Justus.
