In 1948, Roslyn married Isidore Talve. He preceded her in death on April 21, 1995. They had three children: Stephen Lewis, Wendy Beth, and Debra Gail. Roslyn was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Roslyn was the heartbeat of her family, endlessly giving and always available for a thoughtful conversation. She enjoyed her wide circle of friends and maintained cherished lifelong relationships. Until the time of her death, Roslyn was fiercely independent, intelligent, and retained her remarkable memory. She never missed a birthday, anniversary, or festive occasion. Roslyn was an avid reader and voracious consumer of current events, well into her 90s. She always had an informed point of view and a colorful story to share. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, which celebrated her 98th birthday together in November 2023.
Roslyn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Isidore, and her son, Stephen. She is survived by her two daughters, Wendy (Carl Weinberg) and Debra (David Humphreys); grandchildren Eric Talve (Stacey), Michael Talve (Valeria), Julia, Mary Evelyn, Jane (Tim Martin), Jacob Gutwillig (Victoria), William, and Rebecca Mae; and ten great-grandchildren.
