Audryana and I were not close. We were teammates on the track team, and we both graduated high school as Hastings Saxons. When it came time to walk across the stage neither of us had a walking partner, so we planned to walk together. Before graduation we talked about where we were going to college and what we wanted to do. I wish I could remember what she told me she wanted to study. I learned after she passed that she graduated with a video degree just like I did. I think we even hung out for a bit that night at the all night graduation party. I did not know her very well or for very long, but I enjoyed the time we spent together.

My sincerest condolences to everyone who knew and loved Audryana.  This video is from her first assignment in digital post production class titled "A Trip Though Nature".

Aud went with our family on vacation to Florida years ago. I think she was 16 or so. We spent a lot of time at the beach where she collected a mason jar full of sand and shells and shark’s teeth. We were heading home and we put her jar in my carry on. I didn’t realize the consequences of that decision until I was being searched and questioned by airport security. Lesson learned. 

Audryana and I have so many inside jokes and memories. There was never a dull moment when I was with her. We were always laughing about the most absurd stuff. I’m so grateful that she moved to my school and got the locker next to me (We called ourselves locker buddies). She truly was my best friend and always will be. This picture is from our field trip to Chicago. I can remember vividly that we could never take a serious picture. I have countless memories with her from football games, sleepovers, field trips, walking to the Grind after school, One Direction rants, and so much more. Thank you Lisa for always letting me sleepover. These memories will live on forever in my heart. I love you so much Audryana and always will. 

My beautiful girl.  Life won’t be the same for any of us without you.  

I’ll never forget the camping trips  up North. When they were little Audryana and Cayden would  go out exploring (actually just walking the gravel road in the campground) Steve and I walked behind them watching them  but they didn’t even know we were there. Audryana was becoming worried because she thought they were lost . As they were holding hands and continuing to walk Cayden assured  Audryana he  new exactly where the camper was located.  About that time the camper came into view. Audryana yelled “Cayden your so smart “ . Cayden was proud as a peacock and they both ran up to the camper. Steve and I laughed and laughed. We have often brought that sweet memory up. It was so cute, sweet and innocent of the world. Those are my feelings for Audryana as well.

I didn’t get to make nearly enough memories with Audryana despite knowing her since I was in 8th grade. She was someone who  felt emotions very deeply and wasn’t afraid to express them. I’m going to miss waking up to multiple texts and a Snapchat overflowing with TikTok’s, rants, and anything she found that she wanted to share with you. She was a kind person who I’ve been fortunate to have as a friend for as long as I have and I wish I had said it more often. I hope one day I can experience a world capable of receiving all the love she had to give it. 

Aud was an amazing friend. I will always remember the times we spent trying to learn how to cook in our kitchen, watching Netflix on the random person who lived there before us account and countless other memories. I am grateful to call her a friend.

I remember kindergarten field trips with this sweet girl. So long ago yet it seems like yesterday.  My heart and prayers go to her family in this hard time. 🕊️

Aud was a friend who I always knew was around and available to talk. I'm going to miss our random 11pm talks
